i've been reading through various forum post and think i eventually want to do the full desmog (removing air pump/etc) , but if I want to test the desmog modification's effect on my FJ62 to see if it runs any smoother without removing components could would i just disconnect the 7 vacuum lines in yellow in the pic below and cap off the metal lines where they were connected and just leave the 4 vacuum lines circled in Blue connected?
And then just disconnect the hose from vacuum pump at the large check valve circled in RED in the 2nd photo and plug that check value and leave the hose from the air pump unplugged?
