Jim, I was about to order some desmog parts and wanted to know if you sold a cap for the "carb insulator pipe?' as shown with an arrow. Also, is your egr plate for the pipe cap I've shown in the photo? This is for a 1977. Thanks!

Cabron,
No, the EGR plate is for the 78-later style that has a 2-bolt flange. The earlier threaded type you have is best sealed up exactly as you've done: unthread the pipe fitting, weld it closed, reinstall.

When a carb is rebuilt for desmog spec, that pipe disappears. I do not have a cap for the end, but see plenty of them with rubber heaterhose cap.

Shipped, along with some others who were waiting. Still have to build one of the oddball 79 idlers, but that will wait til next week. Leaving to go camping for a few days, blasting off in 5,4,3.....

Hey Jim, I tried shifting through the thread but do you have a replacement pully for a desmog on a 79' with stock power steering?

BitchnFJ, The 'stock' 81-87 pulley can be modified during production to fit the smaller 79-80 AP brackets. It will be several weeks before the next batch is in production and one can be modded for your 79. Post up here if you definitely want one & can wait a few weeks, and I'll make one for you in the next batch.

MTRdude, the pulley for 79-80 is the same price:$110.

NoVaFJ60, the full kit would be idler $110 + EGR block $30 + EGR gasket $15 + plugs $10 + S&H $6,
Total of $171.
I say 'would be', because the idler & EGR blockoff are currently on back order for a week or so.

Update:
Just received all pieces from machine shop to weld together into idlers. Will have them ready to ship on Monday 9/12/16.

All other desmog parts are in stock.
