As you may have guessed, I am looking to change to the Delta 3 arms. I have new 35s now, will not change those out for some time but will be seriously looking at 37s next time. Knowing this buying arms once more is better than buying two more sets. (I have 4s now). So, are there any drawbacks going with the 3Ls and running 35s?

Nope, that’s what is on mine now.

I run the 3reguar on 315s-No issues. Soon to true 35s

Non issue according to Delta guy on the forum. I recall reading a reply he posted about this topic where he said their shop truck rides in 3Ls + 35s. You can find it via some Google search techniques.

with that said, before you buy any arms, I would recommend you get your caster measured with the tires mounted. Once you know this, you can select the arms to give you the desired amount of caster.

What difference would you feel on longer arms vs. regular arms with 315s?

I went with regular just based on their site description stating the long version was for 37s.

Front Axle will be slightly further forward, which isn’t an issue with clearance according to them but just shoot them an email. It’s their product and they can advise you…I’m just a guy on the internet.

I’m on 3.5” lift in the front. Their 3” arms put me at barely 2 degrees of caster. I traded for 4” arms to get slightly more but I wish I was at 4 degrees of caster. 5 arms would have been nice

What did the 3" arms do to your pinon angle? Willing to bet if you have 5" arms it will really louse it up on you. Here is where there is a significant issue. My 4" arms are giving me a 2.9 degree difference, I need to be within 1 degree.
