Tom,me, Frank and Neil joined Muddyshot 4wheelers for some november adventure. We just went to finleyville but we were 9 trucks deep Tom(FJ40) and I (854runner) represented the Toyota contingent,Also were 2 XJ Jeep Cherokees,a CJ-5,a 95 Ford F-150,an 80's fullsize GMC pickup, and 2 beefy Chevy S-10's with leaf springs and Solid Axle Swaps.the trail was hard as rock sometimes but turned to soup after 9 trucks churned through it.The day went fairly well with a few problems lack of traction,an overheating Ford,A cj-5 buried above the tires in frozen marsh,a ruined alloy GMC wheel, and then on the way out i try a side trail i always passed but never attempted a heavily eroded single rut with no tire tracks, well me and gravity arm wrestled and i lost.I drove it in till it flopped on the passenger door,oh well after we flipped it tire side down we drove out just as dark was setting in.I headed home and get pulled over for broken lights, wide tires, and non-transparent windows,no ticket though i think they were hoping i would have illegal/no paperwork but im good and legal.Hope i get it together for the Dec.7 Webster ride.....who knows!
