Is anyone up for a quick Adopt-a-Highway in December? I believe UC needs to do one more before the year is out. I'm open for dates but would have to do it on a Sunday. This usually takes about two hours and then we grab something to eat at one of the local dives.

I'm available the weekend of Dec. 13th. I could go to the meeting on Sat., stay with someone who lives in the area, then pick up trash Sun. Otherwise, I'm out for the month.

What if we have our monthly meeting at the clean-up site, same day? Likely get more participants, and reduced the number of Cruiser related events right around the holidays. Talk business, clean up the road, and BS all at one convenient location.

There isn't a real good place at the site to have a meeting unless we have it outside - then it would be in a parking lot. Any ideas?

that sounds like a good idea. i could probably do the clean up on a Sunday.

Count me in. Will be good to meet some of ya! What all shall I bring? Trash bags I assume. Maybe I can talk my kids into helpin too.

Where do we meet for this?

Wow - Adopt-a-Highway is this Sunday! Lets meet @ 2pm @ the F-Mart parking lot. F-mart is located at the intersection of River Falls Road and US Hwy 276. There is a little gravel parking lot behind F-mart on River Falls Rd - a good meeting point. It will probably only take 1 hour plus a few mins to pick up litter. We can then see if anyone wants to head off to Aunt Sues for food.

I should have everything - litter pickup thingys, safety vests, and trash bags.

I won't be on the internet much until Monday - if you need me call my cell @ 787-4504.

Steve
