deaver add a leaf pack

I am in stalling a Deaver 3 leaf pack to my existing '06 Taco rear factory springs.The factory leaf pin is centered yet the Deaver add a leafs are not and are offset about an inch.I would think the long end toward the rear but thought I would ask here first.Anyone?Thanks

Yes - the longer side should point toward the rear of the truck.
