Ive had a death wobble problem that has slowly gotten worse over the last couple years. As this has gotten worse so has a leak in the steering box. I have pulled and pushed and banged on everything steering related and cant seem to find anything loose or obviously wrong. What is the likelihood of my Death wobble coming from a worn steering (Saginaw) box instead of something lower as I previously thunk?

Death wobble is cruel bitch. Usually brought on by several small things or one major thing. If you suspect your box.... Do you have a lot of slop in the wheel? When the truck is off how much can you turn the steering wheel before the pitman moves? Also check to see if the input shaft moves in and out as you turn the wheel.

To start, Check:
Caster
Toe
Wheel bearings
Trunion bearings
Tre's
Move tires from front to back
Suspension bushings

Thanks Gin Gin.
I'll see if I can do something on this before Hoedown 2013.
