I was tempted to to join up on the socal desert rendevouz, However, being that I don't get a whole lot of time to hit any trails lately, and looking for a more challenging run in a smaller group venue, a buddy and I are planning to drive up to Ballarat Thursday night on March 17th, and run the popular trails in that area that weekend. I really enjoyed my first visit to Death Valley in the fall of 08 and haven't had a chance to go back since.
We plan on running Pleasant Canyon/South Park on Fiday, then on to Goler Wash / Mengel Pass on Saturday, returning Sunday morning.
