OP, did you ever end up ordering these? Every site I can find that sells them charges the price of the wheel, each, to ship. So, it always ends up being twice the price. IDK why shipping stuff from japan is so costly.

I did. Have had them om for a couple of years now. All in it came out to $333/wheel

Direct from Crimson wheel. I sent them an email using google translate asking for a quote and then translated the response back to English. It worked well. Pretty easy to do the entire transaction.

Did you order from Dean directly or thought Crimson? I have tried to send a message but it does not go through. I was thinking of calling. I had my dist in Japan call Dean but they advised they never answered their phone. Thoughts?
Sorry for the long delay. I communicated via email and google translate.

Ok cool. I'll try that. I'm hoping to avoid $900 shipping. What offset did you go with and is your truck lifted?

2.5" suspension lift. No body lift. Zero offset. No spacers.

Hmm, guess they don't sell zero offset any more. They sell a -5mm offset which should be perfect. Do you know the center bore for your set?
I don't recall specifically, but they fit perfectly the way they came. I don't remember there being any options for bore.

Are you looking at 16" wheels? Mine are 0 offset, but they list it as "inset". Mine are still listed on the site. Look at the specs in my invoice above...

Ohhhhh, you went with the 16x8s. Sorry, didn't see that. I was planning to go with a narrower wheel, I think. Although, maybe not because the tires I'm looking at are nearly 10" wide.

If shipping isn't outrageous, I'll go with the 8s. The centerbore has more clearance too, so I wouldn't have to worry about that.

Showe them my quote and ask them to match it.
I will! I appreciate it. I hate how high the shipping cost is, but I want white wheels and after I factor in the cost of powdercoating everything, it just doesn't make much sense to go any other direction unless I could get a dirt cheap set of OEM.

Got a quote for the wheels. They reduced the price a decent amount off the listed for me. How did you pay for the wheels? It seems like they are asking for a direct bank transfer but I can't quite tell.

They gave me their banking info and I set up a money transfer from my B of A account. It was easy and I was able to send the funds in Yen.
