More details would be best for better help, yet...depending how wet, water can infuse quite a distance. You also didn't say how you got out the water, could be a wheel sensor but with it being intermittent...

ADD actuator wiring harness water logged? Wheel sensor or it's wiring attached to the spindle is the most likely suspect.

For the passenger side to take on water, you must have been in the water more than just a puddle crossing. How long was the rig sitting in the water?

And as Jerry posted, how did you get out?
