I’ve been hauling bikes all over for at least 30 years. Carried on the roof for a long time. Then went to a 1up 2 bike. The 1 up was great. When the kids got on adult sized bikes I needed a 4 bike. About that time I had a buddy with a kuat 4 then wanted a 2 bike. So instead of buying two of the +1’s for the 1up I traded. The kuat is a solid rack but huge off the truck and heavy. A buddy got rid of his 1up 4 bike to get a north shore 6 and I was impressed with the design. I sold the kuat and got a north shore 4 a few years ago. It is the best bike rack I’ve ever owned for carrying 4 mountain bikes. Works great on the 200 for accessing the back and limits departure angle less than the huge 4 bike trays. Also it’s 40 lbs lighter than the kuat. Here are some photos of it in action.
Installed the LOLO Rack last night.
Only rack I could find that will lay flat to clear the rear swing out.
I bought the 4 bike model, same as the 6 bike, less the 2 extra hooks that they sell separate to convert, if needed.
