I replaced my 1-2 year old reman. alt after it died w/ a used one for $35. 2 years later its going strong. Just buy 3 used ones instead for a hundred bucks and have 2 back ups!

yeah, i'm interested...want to go 60 starter and alternator on the 45. have you driven the diesel yet? how is it? enquiring minds want to know.

Well whaddya know, I've got a spare starter and a spare alternator. Perhaps hullendersauce and I need to do lunch one of these days to get these parts to you -- unless you feel like coming up to Loveland one Saturday morning or something?

(haven't driven the diesel yet -- well, just in the car, which drives pretty nicely, I might add... )
