Awesome! Have you gotten the chance to cycle the suspension and see how much clearance work will need to be done? I want to run 35s eventually but I’m thinking 35x10.5 just to try and save some of the hassle

I had done a considerable amount of work already. Cut the fender flairs & fenders, flattened the pinch weld, body mount chop, cut bumper. I adjusted the caster last night but have some components seized in the adjustment. I’ll either rebuild or order lower a-arms, there is still a little adjustment to be had there that will help with clearance. Part of what made me do quite so much is the -38 offset wheels, they really swing that tire around in a big arc.

What ome coils did you go with on the front? Are you happy with the ride and off-road performance? How much lift did you get?
I've got a pile of gear waiting on a bumper and sliders to arrive. I have the same shocks and winch, so I'm curious how is going to turn out.
I went with the heavy springs, they ride great! If I could change anything it would be the valving on the shocks, I’d stiffen the compression up a little on the rear. With my load out it transfers a lot of weight to the rear on acceleration & a lot to the front on braking. It’s kinda like riding a rocking horse.

& as for offroad it’s perfect. It eats up the bumps at speed & rides & flexes well.

Cut a little more off my front bumper splash aprons today. Did a little testing. If I had it to do over again I would get a wheel with less offset. These SCS -38’s look badass but the heavy offset causes too many problems.

Love this thread. Got my GX Dec. 31st and am sourcing all my parts now.

I'm looking at a -12 offset. Thank that might work with the 35's?

I bet those would work well. My brother has a set of SCS with less offset than mine & the same size tire. I am going to swap him one of these days & see if I can stuff that rear tire with less offset.

Got a little air & the tire caught the bumper. I’m going to trim it back some more & then box it back in. Lucky I did not ruin a tire.

Been doing some stuff. Working on a tire carrier bumper. This is MOD1. I think I will build several of these. There are going to be changes to the next one. Got rid of the SCS wheels, don’t miss them at all. Everything about my Methods is better. Just picked up a $900 shot box to drive so the Lexus can get a little wilder. I bought a Dana44 out of a Rubicon Jeep.😈
