I recently purchased a 78 Cruiser that needs lots of work.. First will be an engine swap.. I have read lots on this site, but have seen nothing on the install of a Chevy 350, 700R and transfer case. My cconcern is the line up of the transfer case to the front drive line.. Any info from you more experienced Cruisers will be greatly appreciated. 
Also knowing that I must have plenty of room between the fan and radiator,, will the 700R be too long for the SWB FJ40? And has anyone had any problems with steering components while installing the V-8 350 and transfer case in the FJ? Thanks for your time,, and knowledge,, Greg
