I pulled my rear seats out a while ago, and I'm doing some other work now with the rear panels out. There are a bunch of unused parts that I'd like to remove. I got rid of the seat belts and retractors a while ago. Now I'm looking to get rid of the rest of the remnants of the rear seats, specifically the mechanism that latches the seats into the upright position.

I found replacement panels for the part where the lever goes. Now I'm looking for either a blanking plate, or more likely a full replacement inside D pillar trim panel.

I expect that models without a third row like the US market 2 row LX and the LC heritage, and ROW models without third row seats would use a part like this.

I'd expect there to be one without the seatbelt slot and the latch hole.

I've searched parts souq and some of the us parts sites, but can't find a part number that doesn't have the third row parts.

Do any of you have the part numbers?

Have you considered using those spaces for lights? Or for power outlets?

Curious to see where this goes. . . .

Yes, good ideas.

I have to see if there is enough depth for the first one, but maybe those could go there:

Put a 7/16 20 eyebolt used for racing harnesses in place of the upper seatbelt bolt. That’s what I did. Makes for a convenient tie down point.

I like this idea better than spending likely a small fortune for new plastic panels. Some nice slim scene lights would work well with a dimmer kinda like what I did with a truck in the past. These are called Labcraft and made of aluminum in the UK.

The panels from a HE will be in black, so my guess is any part number for a US LC without holes in any other color would be suspect. Only other options are to ask at the Lexus parts counter or follow one of the ideas above.

I'm okay with black panels. No lexus dealers in this area. The local toyota dealer is useless.

So I tried out the idea posted above.

I Dremeled out the opening. It did require removing a spot welded bracket.

I have a similar Blue Sea panel coming for the other side, that one has one cigarettes powerplug and two USB plugs.

PS. The plugs are rotated 90 degrees, which required a little bit of filing because the hole and plug are keyed with a flat side. I used a file to make the holes round. The light colored mark is a silver sharpie.

Part numbers are 62471-60510-B0 and 62472-60380-B0 for light gray. Change the suffix to E0 for tan, and C0 for black. The part number came from a 2008 Middle East spec GX, 4.0L, 5 speed manual. Changing the suffix to C0 brought it right up in the USA for 2020 LC.

Thank you very much!
