Gang,
Just wrecked my 80 and the ARB saved most of the truck. The only thing we can see wrong mechanically so far is the off road light harness is cut and the rubber tranny cooler line hose was cut that runs behind the DS headlight. The rest is hood, fenders and bumper need replacing.
Looking to make a quick sale on my 4Runner to fund the repair.
FS D/FW: 1994 4Runner SR5 auto 4WD *NEEDS HG REPLACED* everything else 90%, North Dallas, TX.
Was my DD for 7 years, lots of aftermarket parts, no rust, completely rebuilt tranny and t-case swap (2 yrs ago) ARB front bumper, Aluminum core radiator (8-10 mos.old), new top and bottom hoses, OME med Lift (shocks and springs), OME torsion bars, Downey ceramic coated headers, Magnaflow straight muffler, hi-flow cat, NGK plugs, Magnecor wires, Downey Idler arm gusset, Aisin manual hubs, Remflex exhaust gaskets, EGR delete mod with custom intake into TB, Mr. Alternator 150 amp HO Alt. with recent rewind, Hayden tranny cooler, F/R diff breathers, Twin Fiamm horns, Cobra CB in dash and wired to ant. mount in rear hatch, Yakima 2 bike setup with new locks and keys, Treadwright 31" MTR knockoffs with the Green Diamond bits in them, could use 2 new fronts, full size spare, Clifford alarm with 2 remotes, interior good, Ive been using the seat covers for about 2 years, have fronts/backs/cargo floor cover and cargo tonneau cover. Everything works and works good. always used semi-syn 10W-30 and Toyota Red coolant, factory 4.88 gears, Weather tech window vents and bug deflector, Clean TX title.
The bad, crack in dash pad, crack in windscreen front PS, needs 2 front tires, slight golf ball sized dent in R rear 1/4 panel, looks like a door ding, offroaded like 3 times ever. Tranny shifts smooth and engine is strong.
This is my 3rd HG on this truck and I knew what it was when it happened so I shut the rig down quick, didnt overheat it. Towed it to the mech and we cranked it and it shot red coolant out of the tailpipe. No PB under the oil cap, no apparent coolant in oil. Mech wanted to JDM swap it for another 3.0 and I didnt want it to happen again. Tried to engineer out the hotspot on the #6 with the manifold crossover by using the headers on the last rebuild, my guess is one of the firerings on the HG failed in 1 small spot. This has the Slipperplate gasket from ENGNBLDR.com,and ARP head bolts that we did on the last build, as I had planned on keeping the truck.
Granted the new LC is no guarantee, but I have the room I need and I want to get my old rig to a good home. I know some of you guys can take this thing apart on a weekend and put it back together. I'm not setup for it and this would make a great DD, trail, or deer lease rig. Need to get it into a good home where someone that has the motor experience and time can get it running again. Runs strong. haven't run it since we got it towed home.

Asking $1500, for all the parts in it. Not interested in parting out. Very doable repair on this rig and it's already built up for you. As I said would make a perfect trail/lease rig, but still nice enough to DD if you have done the repair before. Clear TX title.

Cheers,
Mike
