I'll let you all decided and make opinions, here are the vents and their outcomes.
As some may recall I ordered a new turbo and intercooler from them when I started doing the 2LT build. I ordered the following:
TRB-T3-V-8PSI-42T3 Internal wastegate Turbo Charger .42AR 8psi 2.5" V Band 0.42 AR
IC0035-TF-KIT250-EB-BOV009-BLS-1DIY UNIVERSAL Intercooler Piping Kit BOV + Adapter
The thread is here:

What I got was a T3/T4 Hybrid, much larger than what I needed, and they misses all of the hose clamps in the intercooler kit. So I contacted them via email and asked about the clamps (since at first I had no idea the turbo was wrong) and they told me they would send them out right away. They never have, till this day. Since I ended up changing engines I had the turbo, new in the box, and didn't need it since it would not work for a smaller engine. I gave it to John at ATEB because he might have used it or another member was interested. That's when I found out it was way too large for anyone and it was a hybrid and not a true T3 like advertised.
I contacted them again and got no response. So I sent another, less friendly email, to which I finally got a reply, apparently they said they got back to me but it must have been misplaced. They said they would look into the turbo and put the clamps on credit. Another week later I got a reply from a new person telling me that all of the turbos are like that, also that they don't offer warranty but if I am not happy then they would refund or exchange it for something else. So I sent out another email, stating that I wanted to return it, and wanted the clamps they still owed me. At that time I wanted an external wastegate and was willing to do a partial refund in exchange for it. That email went unresponded for a week. I sent another, nothing, and 2 more over a 4 week period. So far all have been unresponded. It has been around 7 weeks from the original contact and nothing.
As a side note, the turbo I received was not something I would have been able to install even if it fit. None of the bolts have any kind of security locking devices. Factory and most aftermarket turbos have a way of locking the bolts that hold the center section to the exhaust and intake turbines.
Now the rest of the products I received from them have been good, but their level of service combined with the quality of the turbo would make me question some of their more detailed and complex products. I think that their intercooler systems are still a good buy, but for my money I am staying away from their turbo systems.

That's not good....sorry that happened.

I wonder if some of these places that sell overseas products, really are just a distribution center with no idea of service or anything else that 'didn't come in the container from over there', or do they even really understand the products they sell?

It's about volume and not retaining 100% of customers when 95% positive feedback is good enough.

Just my $0.05 worth. :meh:

Yes. It is time for Bill to take a time out! lol

are you talking to me, or graham, or phil, or yourself, or all of us?
It was in reference to people not relevantly contributing to the original theme of the thread. In case someone, one day, might be interested in the information in it, it would be annoying and pointless to sift through piles of posts about unrelated stuff just so they could find what they wanted.

Back on track:
I've sent them 5 emails, none of which have been responded to. I will be calling them this week, they still owe me 16 clamps from the intercooler system kit and I still want to return the turbo. THe guy I have been "dealing with", Jason, told me they would accept the return but did not tell me any details. I don't want to ship it back without a case number, because then he could easily say they never got it and keep the cash or just keep ignoring me the way he has been up till now.

Bill, is this your way of getting back at the sidetracked threads and insults?

Well, there's 2 sides to this:
1) It pays to advertize!;p
2) Many people think nothing of hijacking my thread, so I guess it's ok for me to do the same, eh? :hhmm:

is bill the bald guy that came to me at the meeting, asked my name, wrote it down, and didnt interduce himself and walked away???

That's correct, I'm the bald guy who wanted to know if you were the sashole who was making trouble for our members, and if I needed a lesson in manners, you would be the last person I'd approach.

hahah. i am going to ask you again. can you show me the trouble i have made. seems like you are the one with an agenda to make something out of nothing. so did you get what you wanted? did you gain anything? what was the point you were trying to make?

Can you take this to PM or something please...

On a related CX note, sorry to hear your troubles.

I had ordered some stuff and it took 4 emails to get them to change the shipping address. They were on a business trip or something, that was their excuse anyway .

The original order was placed on 07.13. After 6 unanswered emails (well the recent 6, not including the many before that) to a guy by the name of Jonathan Suarez at CXRacing I finally called them. Talked to someone else and finally getting the issue resolved. They are supposedly going to send me the clamps that were missing from the original order for the intercooler and emailing me an RMA for the return of the turbo, which is subject to a 15% restocking fee. Bastards. Screw them, I will never spend a dime with them again and urge anyone else to think strongly about where you chose to spend your money. Like I said, the products are inexpensive, and if the order is correct then they should be fine. I still think the intercooler was a good deal and the quality of that was nice. The turbo was average for the cost, I don't think I will ever risk a cheap Chinese knock-off again considering that if it fails it can irreparably damage the engine.
When it comes to non moving parts or something trivial, sure, but things that are this important are worth the extra $.

Eventually I managed to get most of it sorted out but it took over 6 months. They sent the clamps out within several weeks of finally getting through to them. I had to call, several times, to get through to one of their employees to finally get an RMA. After I got the number I sent them the package and had to pay for shipping of course. Tracking confirmed it was delivered and after waiting for a week I didn't hear from them or see a refund so I started sending emails again. No response. I called and kept getting a voice mail from the guy I was dealing with and left several messages. After about 6 months after the initial contact I finally got a hold of him (not because he responded to my emails or messages). He said he would get on it. 2 weeks later I finally got a refund for about 90% of the turbo, the rest was held back for restocking. Never dealing with that company again. I will admit the intercooler kits are priced very well and they are built adequately but I would not risk buying a turbo from them ever. And don't expect any kind of customer service from them either.
The turbo that showed up was a very basic quality turbo. There were no locks of any type on any of the screws. If installed there could be a risk of the main screws that hold the housings together backing off due to vibration. I've had that happen when ASI in Port Kells forgot to put locking plates on my turbo. Most factory turbos have some kind of way of locking the bolts on the two housings so they don't come off accidentally. CXRacing turbos do not come with any.
