I recently bought an 07 LX470 from Kings chariot and have been chasing down some issues. I have a hum one of the front axles so I figured I’d replace the brakes and inspect the bearings. When I removed the driver side drive flange, the CV wobbles in the spindle. Is this normal or could this be a bad needle bearing in the knuckle? It moves in all directions

That is completely normal. The mounted drive flange holds that end of the drive shaft on center.
Aside from that, that muddy looking grease indicates water intrusion. I'd reccomend cleaning out the spindle bore and axle shaft and splines and inspect the inner axle seals (back side of knuckle) and grease the needle bearing while you're in there.
You can get access to those by pushing the axle inward - hard. You'll get about a half inch gap opening behind the knuckle to look in there.
