My inner rear quarter panel trim pieces disintegrated from my 60s PO driving with a massive hole in the rear quarter panel. My solution was to use some 1/4-inch AR500 steel plate that I had lying around to make new bullet proof trim pieces. Is it heavy? Yes. Is it unnecessary? Absolutely. Is it cool? Hell yea it is. Just thought I'd share with the community. BTW, there is a lot less vibration and road noise in the back seats now.
