I am starting to work on plans for a custom drawer system for the cargo area. I’m hoping some members here could post pics of yours and maybe some build pics as well.

I built a very similar set to what's discussed on this forum. I'll post photos later.

Maybe this helps to get inspiration:

Many examples, of "how to drawer or sleep inside" many links, too back to ih8mud ;)

Here is mine:

Here is what I came up with. I didn't really draw up plans for it since I was just making it up as I went. I used a bunch of cardboard to make rough templates and refined the shape as needed. Overall, it came out pretty nice in my opinion. It is perfect for holding all of my gear while still having a flat cargo area in the back. Before this, everything was just stuffed into plastic bins back there.

The top sits flush with the 3rd row seat mounts, which is also level(ish) with the 2nd row seats when folded down. The base is 1/2" ply cut to the shape of the cargo floor (used the lexus floor mat as a template), and is secured to the factory tie down points. Everything is secured to the base, so it can come out in one giant piece if I want. Top and vertical pieces are 3/4" ply with some 2x4 lengths for added strength. The forward part of the platform is angled so the 2nd row can still recline, and so I have a spot to stow my cheap traction boards. The side compartments have magnets to keep the lids from flapping over bumps and run the length of the platform. The drawer runs the full length of the top of the platform and is held shut with some rubber t-handle latches (like some coolers have). I recessed 4 tie down points that are mounted directly to the vertical supports. All visible surfaces are covered in speaker box carpet to hide any imperfections and keep things nice and quiet.

I made my "Dirfta" style box from flame Birch (embrace the wood :) ).. i used teflon strips for sliders (for maximum drawer width) and brass ball catches at the rear of the drawers to secure them in place while driving.

I found a small folding table at wally world for 20 bucks and repurposed the folding /extendable legs for my slide out table All in for about 300.00..... could have been considerably less if i had just used plain plywood but i'm very happy with how it turned out and when i slide out my table and chair for coffee on the trail its just perfect!

I did a single drawer out of 3/4" plywood. I made a 3/4" base that fills the space and bolted it to the third row seat floor brackets. I bolted my fridge slide and drawer to that piece. The drawer sits level with the seat when folded. An REI air mattress eats up any dips between the drawer and tge seat and makes for a very comfortable and convenient single bed.

Very nice

Similar to @ArBrnSnpr except without a drawer. I prefer to use tool bags for my gear, but will probably switch over to front runner wolf and cub packs. Underneath the flip up on the left side is where I routed all of my power for the fridge and extra usb and cig outlets.

how did you secure this to the floor? Any pics? want to do pretty much the same thing Iincluding the blue sea outlet, but cany figure a way to securely mount the base to the floor.

Unbolt the third row seat brackets on the floor and bolt your base into those holes.

It's been working on mine for a few years now with no issues.
