Parts on order, thanks Daryl I was ready to buy new starter.

Pulled the starter and rebuilt solenoid today, one contact did not look bad but the other was paper thin and part of it was missing.

By Gawd, I should get some sort of credit for this happy ending ...

I politely listened to Daryl tell me 'bout how to fix a starter ... which of course I didn't actu'lly give a s*** about ...

Later on, I politely listened to Roger tell me 'bout problems he was havin' with his starter ... which of course I didn't actu'lly give a s*** about ...

But then ... just like one of them online datin' services ... I hooked 'em both up with each other ... and the rest is history.

Life is good.
