I’m in Colombia at the moment trying to buy a 45. It has a running 14b in it. I’m going to restore it before I ship it to the states where I’ll use it for overlanding trips.
Would you keep the original 14b with 5 speeds or spend some more to put a 2.8 Cummins in it?
Mpg is important but dependability is more important. I don’t want to be working on the truck the whole time like I did for the last 9 months well traveling in my Fj40 F engine.
Is it easy to fine parts for these engines in the states, Canada and if anyone knows Africa?
