It's cooling off a little and time to start training for the fall climbing season. I missed the whole summer due to work so I am starting out fat and fresh. The trail should be dry even a little dusty so any basic trail or running show will do. This a 12 miler with about 4000ft of vertical, tough but not brutal. Should be perfect weather if we get an early start (before sunrise). PM me if you're interested.

Sounds like fun, but I don't think my knees could handle it. I'm having trouble with 3 mile walks as it is. :crybaby:

What does the water resupply look like?

The only water you can count on is at about mile 2 which is only 1/3rd of the way up so I carry 3 liters and hike early to avoid the heat and the crowd. It is a beautiful trail.

I hear you Brent, I did El Moro on Wednesday and I am feeling it big time this morning. I hope we can get together and hike Palm Canyon next month.

Beautiful day in the San Gabriel Mountains.
