Hello fellow mudders, yesterday I took apart my ct20 17201-54060 to rebuild it and I noticed that there's no oil deflector plate in the chra.. I googled it and there's some other incidents of people finding out that their ct20 had no oil deflector when they took them apart. My kit has the oil deflector included, what should I do? Could my ct20 be of a certain variety that operates without an oil deflector?

Anyone? I need to put it back together and I sure don't want it to fall apart.. The old carbon seal will be replaced with a dynamic seal, I just need to know if I should put in the oil deflector that came with the kit..
