Well I'm back on my feet after getting sick for a little more then a month.
Got tired of ER visits and a vacation in the hospital.
Yesterday I was able to fire up my LC for the 1st time since July.

Dealing health issues with RA and taking Humira hasn't been very helpful. A common cold can take me out pretty hard.

Bummer, glad to see youre back feeling mostly better

I'm on a weekly dose of humira for my UC and it hasn't worked for me either. Not a fun shot to administer. Hope you find relief!

Hey.. I've been dealing with UC for 4 years, Just was diagnosed with RA, in the process, they found other stuff.
I'm doing better now. But I can't take the Humira. I have the bi-weekly epp pen style shot.
The Humira had a bad effect with me. And with my work. I can't take a chance. Since I work outside in extreme conditions.
So I'm back to prednisone. Which is equally bad. But halfway works. And a side effects don't always equal death.

But the ER doc and I are on a 1st name basis. .lol. and I found a hospital I really like.

Not to often I find someone else with UC. I've had it for 6 years now and tried every medication there is. I started out biweekly on the shot, it didn't work, went to every week, that didn't work, I've been on Prednisone for over a year with only a couple weeks off in between cycles. I've become dependent on it and so last week my doc and I decide on surgery. I go in Tuesday for my consultation. I too work outdoors. On roofs actually, so I feel your pain.

So....we are getting roof work done at my home for the last couple of weeks and Ive been leaving the FJ40 out on the street during the day with the alarm set.

Yesterday the "Hi, Im an ex-crack addict selling magazines" crew comes through the neighborhood trying doors and snooping around. 3 hours later my wife is in the backyard and hears a truck-backing-up-beeping sounds from out front. She goes to the front yard and there is a tow truck backing up to my FJ. She confronts the AAA tow truck and they say it is the right address they have and call some guy on the phone and they argue back and forth a little. The guy on the phone says "Just pick it up!". Wife says no to the truck driver, you need to leave.

She hears the name of the guy who is called so I call AAA towing and they look it up; I get the phone number and check it out, It is a cheap burner phone and the guy wont answer - goes right to voice mail.

We made a police report and gave them all the info. The cops say that many times the tow drivers are in cohoots with the thieves. Sometimes I think that because we have a good neighborhood we dont have much or any police presence. Does this make it more attractive to these asshats? Dont know for sure but I can tell you the 40 stays in the backyard behind locked gates and alarmed from now on ~ The roof guys will have to work around it.

Im making my wife a nice dinner this weekend! Thats for sure ♥

Glad the 40 is still with you and the Mrs. caught them before they tied on. These low lifes will stop at nothing!

Murf, surround the 40 with trip wire and a couple of claymors.
You don't think thats over reacting do ya?

David Bowie passed today. Different kind of guy but his musical influence cannot be denied...
