So I'm planning on re-gearing and the topic of cryo treating the ring and pinon gears has come. Several folks on the 200 forum have done this and its popular in racing circles as well as other motor sports. I posted this on the 200 page:

I'm wondering if anyone local here has bothered to cryo treat their gears and if so, where did you send them too. I can't find anyone local that does this which surprises me a little. I haven't decided if I will mess with this or not as the 200 isn't really ever going to be hard core rock crawler.

Yes, I did for my regear, back in 2007ish. I'll see if I can find where I sent mine, somewhere in MO I thought, very reasonable.
