How do I combat the aluminum corrosion on my engine components? A magic spray?

I would highly suggest a small "test area". I used a similar product on my HJ75's rear bumper and while it worked wonders on the bumper itself, the effect on the hardware (screws, nuts, bolts) wasn't quite as positive.

Somewhere, sometime, I watched a Youtube vid where a motorcycle guy used Marvel Mystery Oil to clean aluminum bright work.
I'm not too sure about rubbing oil all over the engine...
