Well I'm off to go check out a cruiser tomorrow. Was hoping the sharp eyed folks here could do a once over and give a list of what they see wrong :) My biggest concern is of course that the body will be 90% bondo...

Toyota Land Cruiser BJ45, Pickup ,NY BES | Skåne

So far on my list: (I'm sure there's other things too)
Seats are obviously not stock.
Lots of cover plate
The inside of the fenders aren't painted although other parts are.
Missing windshield washer fluid cap.
Badge on tailgate painted over.

Right on! Glad to see you are finally looking for a cruiser over there! I don't know 40's that well, so can't really comment on that one. Looked better than I was expecting though.

With the traveling you do, why don't you consider a HZ powered Troopy or other 70 series LWB? Newer and easier to get parts? Set it up as an expo rig and travel all over Europe?

That's a lot of $borkborks...that paint looks so fresh you can probably still smell it.

An optimist might say that the diamond plate could just be a box liner...

Clearly you're going to have to look at that 70 series pickup they have too, it's only another $10 of whatever the hell that currency is....

Do Lauballs work in europe ?

The guy had 20+ cruisers there... this was the coolest one:

Although not as cool, for sure the 1hz troopy would rock.
