I hope to - I usually go a week early for the Maze (permit required) - the Cruise Moab is an 'extra' to that adventure.

Hoping to have an 81 for the long haul down - not yet acquired.

I'll be skipping it for CM, but will swing by there for a few days in July

Looking for 1 or 2 more trucks to fill out a second permit (max. 3 vehicles/9 people per permit) in the Maze Canyonlands the week prior to Cruise Moab. Need to book soon - sites go fast!

I have posted detailed trip reports the last four years, this year I do not have the time. Plus some of the infantile discussions that have gone before have dampened my enthusiasm for spending time doing time consuming trip reports.

Fair enough.. But you made it back without incident? All well?

All is well at my end, I left Gary in Moab -I had to get back Monday since I had contractors showing up.
The truck ran well -- it averaged 23 mpg over the 5,200 km. The weather was colder and windier than previous years, then warmed up last Thursday.
