I have an 80 series swapped with a 12v. I recently ditched the modded harmonic balancer that had 3 teeth milled into it, and installed a fluid damper that has 2 cuts in it for tach pick up. From what I've seen the original person who did a swap kept the Toyota CPS and installed a resistor on the wiring going to the tach. I got a Orange orange red red resistor which from my google search is a 3.3k ohm resistor. Im am trying to avoid going the dokato digital route since a resistor is pretty cheap. Can any tell me how many teeth the cps tone ring has?
