I saw an add for a 78 FJ-40 in Stoughton a few weeks back. Hit by a tornado but appeared to be in good shape. Anyone know any history on the vehicle?

I went and took a look at it. It isn't much. It did start well and seemed to run rich but that was about all it had going for it. The body was shot and had cobbled panels on it. The top was history as well.

The Owner on the other hand was a good guy. He is into Jeeps and had a nice selection of beer.

In my opinion, it would only be a parts vehicle at most.
