Don't know how I haven't heard of this until today, but Congress is to vote on a bill TOMORROW (Oct 1) that could close Moab, Chimney Rock, and San Rafael Swell in Utah - roughly 9.4 million acres to the OHV community. If this bill is passed, I think it will provide the legal precedence for keeping Tellico closed. For more info on the bill go to Blue Ribbon's Site - House Subcommittee to Hear SUWA's Wilderness Bill - BRC Action Alert
We've got experience in talking to the congressmen via Tellico. Let's get onto the online form letter generator, call your congressman, let your voice be heard. If we can influence our representatives, maybe we'll still be able to go to Moab someday, and hopefully help us get Tellico back.
