3 Hurt In Couch-Towing Stunt Through Cow Pasture
(AP) Ellsworth, Wis. It probably sounded like a good idea -- sit on a couch with two buddies while another friend in a pickup truck tows the couch through a cow pasture.
Pierce County, Wisconsin, authorities are still trying to piece together what happened. What they do know is, the three couch-bound men were hurt around 1:30 a.m.
The sheriff's department said the truck was driven by 23-year-old Joseph Schoeder of Beldenville, Wisc.
Twenty-four-year-old Bradley Johnson of Ellsworth was one of the three men on the couch. He was airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, where he's in critical condition.
The two others on the couch were treated and released from a Red Wing, Minnesota hospital. They are 21-year-old Timothy Flynn of Welch, Minnesota, and 21-year-old Cole Eckhoff of Red Wing.
