Anyone have one of these 4000lbs aluminum floor jacks? I'd really appreciate your thoughts on them to help me decide if I need one.

I've been looking at various aluminum floor jacks over the last year. My requirements are that it can lift my 80, which is over 5000 lbs and still low enough to fit under my other car (less than 3.5" clearance). I would also like to keep the price around $150 if possible.

Harbor Freight, Northern Tools, and Sears all had 3K aluminum floor jacks under $99. I've never given them much thoughts since lifting one end of my 80 would probably max out the capacity of these 3k jacks, which does not leave much of a safety margin. I was at Costco the other weekend and noticed that they have a new 4000lbs aluminum jack, with dual cylinders for faster lift. It weights less than 50 lbs by my estimates, and has a low price tag of $99. I can't find the jack on their website but Northern Tool has one that is almost identical to it

DO NOT BUY THE COSTCO JACK. They Blow

I've killed two of them jacking up the front of my FJ-55. They are not a true 4000 pound jacks.

I've taken both of mine back and went to harbor freight for:

I picked mine up for $119 on a sale.

EDIT: I bought the COSTCO Aluminum Jack

I bought the Arcan XL35 (3.5 ton) at Costco a couple of years ago, and it has served me well. It is definitely not Aluminum. Gotta be 100 lbs. It is less than 4" and lifts 20 or 21 inches. Recommended (except for the weight).
