I had one in a different car, with a 5 point harness. It is really nice to be held by the lateral supports. Mine was a fixed back, but I plan to put in a reclining seat.

We sell them and I'll be at Corbeau this weekend in Utah picking up my personal set. They are similar to the Mastercraft but I'm not sure about there quality.. I get them at a really good price so I'm definitely getting a set. I think they have about 4 or 5 different models of suspension seats available starting at 179.00 ea (Baja SS)

What aren't you sure of on the quality of the seats? The reason I'm asking is there isnt anyone anywhere around me that runs any aftermarket seats, and it's difficult to find stuff in a junkyard around here. Leaves me stuck blowing some more money, but it's alright....not like I can take it with me so I should spend it now lol.

I found a guy about an hour north of me who has a pair of the Baja SS seats, which is one I was considering. We went for a short ride so I could get a feel for the seat and it was great, I'm sure there are better seats out there but for $180 and a seat that everyone asks about I think Bush's stimulus check just got put to good use.

not sure about the quality because I've never had first-had experience with them. Corbeau has a decent rep and we don't mind selling their product (no returns to date) but I've never had a set of them in hand. I'm still buying them though ;)

They are really good seats...my buddy has them in his truck. One thing though...you better be skinny, they are not built for big guys.

I bought me a set....they are very nice seats, I've looked over both of them almost intimately and not found anything i didnt like. They are comfortable too, and I dont need to worry about room in the seat...I clock in at a whole buck fifty so I fit almost perfect.

Just had a customer with a set in his 88 4Runner.

My impressions:
Comfortable, definitely firmer than stock SR5 seats.

One thing I hated about them though is that there is no spring assist to slide them forward. Same with the seat back when flipping it forward to get into the back seats. You have to manually pull the seat back forward. A definite PITA with a 2 door truck.

Seat brackets also definitely looked like they could have been better made but did the trick. One of the passenger holes didnt line up with a stock hole and they used a spacer and drilled another hole in the floor to mount them. These were Corbeau brackets marked for a 4Runner.

I thought I'd let everyone know I got my Baja SS seats in the truck and tried them out last weekend. The ride is surprisingly comfortable with some lug slapping tires and the typical ride of a solid axle truck, not to mention the crappy Missouri roads I was driving on and off of. My only complaint is that it is a little tricky squeezing into the seat between the kidney bolsters and the steering wheel but thats also due to having to jump into the truck first. All in all, I love them...and I would recommend them to anyone who asks from what I've seen so far. O, and another note...these are a fixed back seat so in the single cab trucks the headrest of the seat is all but touching the rubber seal of the rear window with the seat all the way forward. Some might think this would decrease the amount of legroom but I'm over 6' and have no issues...just a FYI.
