Been looking to rock coral upholstery in my '67. Anybody have SOR or Cruiser Corps coral covers? If so, can you share a picture and let me know what you think of them. If you know any other vendors, please let me know.

Thanks!!!

Josh

Cruiser Corps seat covers with new SOR seat foams. Had for a couple years now. No complaints.

Cruiser corps makes the best covers in coral. Make your own foam with foam from Bestway foam.com . All you need is some 12-14 gauge wire, hog rings with pliers, and an electric carving knife.

I actually have fairly new foam in it right now but that's good to know. Part of the reason I will prob go with Cruiser Corps is that I have 72-73 jump seats with the diagonal base. SOR doesn't sell those in coral. When I called and asked if I could special order, they said no. Sort of a bummer because their quality is good.

Good to hear Cruiser Corps are nice and they have the whole setup I need.

Cruiser corps material is superior to SOR. Coral is a better shade as well.

What thickness foam did you go with for the front & back & the jump seats?
And what density & firmness do you recommend?
Mine is a 68' with stock seat frames.

The front seats for yours will be a bench so I would recommend the 3”

2.8 LB DENSITY UPHOLSTERY FOAM SHEETS

Same density for the rear jump seats. I’d recommend. A roll of 1” and 2”. The jump seats have foam inset into the frames and the 1” fills that nicely. Then use the 2” as the pillow on top. Just an electric carving knife is needed to mold the foam and some 3M upholstery spray.

Thanks for the information. That really helps!

@letterman52 thanks for the guidance- I'm prepping to do my own seat job and will follow your advice on foam etc. Any advice for someone who's never done these? Tricks or tips you picked up? Do you size the foam exactly to the frames, or go a little bigger? Any tips on wiring, fitting, etc? Any help is appreciated!

While on the subject of SOR vs Cruiser Corps covers. Whos covers are better?

I am going to be re-doing my front bucket seats and short jump seats with new foam and covers this winter. I've read positives and negatives of each company's covers here on mud, although some of those posts were pretty old. Anyone have some recent experience with either cover? Not sure whos I should go with.
