Hi AZ crew,

what type of coolant are you running in a FJ60 and the mixture during the summer. I have an aftermarket radiator so not sure if that changes anything.

I'll give a generic answer. Toyota red is the best, the zerex import stuff is pretty close. I run Preston's green in some stuff and red in others. Whatever you do, don't mix colors, and if you want to switch from one to the other make sure you flush the entire system out several times with distilled water. Neither coolant really performs better, but different formulas work better with different metals and gasket materials. Oem recommend is the best. That said, my Tacoma has had green in it for 18 years and my cruiser for at least 10 (probably much longer). Both are original head gaskets. Flush and change your coolant according to schedule and either will treat you well.
