I think its a common part. Same as a celica of the same vintage ive heard.

Probably is, but I'm having a difficult time finding a part number in the catalogs. I could just pull the part and try to match it up, but really don't have the time (and here that doesn't mean getting the right part)
Is it for the ECM or your Guage or Air Con?
The one for the ECM is 89422-35010 water temp sensor. goes in the block
The thermo switch for AC is 88790-60050.

water gauge is acting up, i suspect it's the sender.
same as corollas, easy to find even in your area
Yes try that part number for the sender above should be available almost anywhere.
