Just did my first FZJ80 coolant flush and want to let everyone know that contrary to what is often posted on this forum, there is no reason to remove the driver front wheel or remove any wheel well dust shields to access the block drain plug (at least on a 1994 with near stock tire size). There is a straight shot from the wheel well to the block drain plug if you go behind the shock and in-between the dust shields while using approximately 18 inches of extensions on your wrench. You will need to position the wrench between the tire and the wheel well when turning it.

I also assume if your tire size prohibited you from accessing this area you could probably turn the tires to the right and that would open up enough room.

Hopefully this saves everyone some time.
