This just in!!!!!!!!!!! Pearl Harbor under attack!!!!!!!!!

Barry,

Amanda won the cool canvas bag with a winch line extender, tree saver and folding shovel at the SCC raffle. I'm... correction, she's keeping the folding shovel. I already have a winch line extender, tree saver and carry bag. If you want the rest, shoot me a PM. I'm sure she will be reasonable on the price!

The winch line extender may not get you out of ALL the trouble you might find, but it gets you closer to a winching anchor point.

I'll bring it to the Dec meeting.

Happy Trails

oh.
guess i missed out.
new to offroading and all.

Are they any good, o' thou great fount of knowledge?

You can only claim "New to off-roading" untill your first dented body panel. You are long gone. :D

They are super heavy. The old school trick is to dig a deep hole and bury your spare to make a wench point.

Or, carry an extra 100' of winch cable. How often are you stuck, by yourself, 200' from a tree, in MS?

On second thought... you need one!

Whose number was I dialing? Your second remark is astute.

I'm pretty sure you could have reached a tree from there if you had a working winch. An extra length of cable would have done it for sure.

Of course, working 4x4 and you wouldn't have been in that situation. Heck, a rear locker in 2wd would have kept you safe. :D

All that said, I still think you still need a pull pal, however unfortunate the name of the product may be. :o
