Conversion of Pajero Engine

Hi guys, I'm here to ask that my 95 model Pajero 2800's engine has been cracked during driving on highway. Now my Mechanic is recommending to alter the engine by Toyota Prado TZ engine or 1KZ or FL2.
KINDLY ASSIST ME ACCORDINGLY.

mechanics are saying Pajero engine is not good for long journeys through highways means to say for high speeds. If I put Pajero engine again then it will blast again.

Replace the entire thing with a toyota. Pajero running gear is the same 'quality' as the Pajero engine... We call mitsubishi 'bitsamissing' in australia

All these old IDI (indirect injection) turbo diesel's crack heads. The Toyota's do as well. Ditch the Pajero and buy something with a DI (direction injection) turbo diesel, or a gas engine. Save yourself lots of future expense.
