Hello!
I'm planning to switch from external to internal voltage regulator. I have already found the alternator that fits perfectly on my 12HT diesel 24volt
Now I'm trying to understand how to make the different connections on the wires
I have read many threads on the forum but I would like to have some confirmation if I understood correctly and ask a question.

Basically I have to bring S/L/IG to the socket of the new alternator, with internal regulator.

I can do this by making a loop on the car side external regulator socket between:
IG and F to have IG on alternator
E and B to have S on alternator (in this way the sense is from the battery and more correct than made a loop from the B on the bolt on the alternator chassis)
N and L to Have L on alternator

if I have understood correctly,in this way I use the same cables that currently go to the alternator giving them the functions that the internal regulator needs.
And it should work…..

Now the question: in the electrical diagram of the version with internal voltage regulator there is the Charge Lamp Relay. With these modifications and loops there is no need for this component. It's correct?

Thank you all for any advice, suggestions and clarifications.
