have you seen me in a tux? Think Devito in Batman.
I did loose 15lbs in the weeks I was in the hospital, but I've gained 5 of that back.

I'm doing good. Complications and medication reactions have kept me on my toes and now I'm on an antibiotic that is pretty much throwing my constitution for a loop: jitteryness, tired but insomnia at the same time, etc. but I have to be on that med until March 6th, which is when the neurosurgeon will go into my head through my nose and inspect to see if there is an opening between my sinus cavity and sphenoidal cavity (where the pituitary hangs).... To catch you up to speed: I had a very large pituitary tumor removed in '94, they left a small portion of the tumor on purpose for fear it might be connected to other parts of the brain, so it's always been checked by daily medication and MRI's on an annual basis to make sure no changes had happened. Well... now, they fear that the small portion has literally rubbed a hole in the membrane and bone that seperates the sinus from the brain. That is most likely how bacteria travelled from my sinus to the menigis fluid... causing meningitis. I ain't normal.

I'm operating on about 75% strength and have been back to work since the first work day out of the hospital. I am almost back to normal, but damn there are times when fatigue just ups and slaps me in th face and reminds me that I'm recovering from a serious life threathening sickness and not just a cold. It's very humbling and I'm very happy to be here living these days and being alive!

keep us posted Eric.
We are thinking about you.
