I've done a bit of searching and have some clues but would love some input.

My 80 recently started squealing constantly while driving. The sound is coming from the front drivers side wheel. It sounds like squeaky brakes but it happens constantly while driving and accelerating. The sound also gets louder and more intense while breaking. It can be intermittent and doesn't seem to happen when I turn a certain degree in a certain direction. Any idea what this could be? Something with the break pads maybe? My brother was a Ford mechanic for a while and said it might be the wheel bearings but I wanted to get a bit more input before I dive into all of that.

First would be the brake squealers indicating your pads are worn.

Second would be wheel bearings

Third would be axle bushing in the knuckle being dry due to no grease. Check knuckle grease levels.

Sounds good. Thanks for the quick response
