Have a complete pto winch set up. its was originally on a '72 fj40 but then a 4 speed h41 was installed in the cruiser and the winch retained. So I assume it should fit a 4 speed . I have the winch with new cable, pto box, shifter, spud shaft, and driveshaft , can send pic if interested. $700.00 firm you pay shippin or pick up in Ark.
thanks Dave

David(Razorback06) that looks like a good deal to me. Many 4 speeds had a spacer in place of the PTO gear, so you will/may be in for some transmission work to get it to operate.
OEM PTO winches are cool.
You don't run a header, do you?

like Degnol said, and Mark W. also said, the 4 spd case MAY need a pto gear which is available from several sources, but a 3 spd case has the gear in place.

Well I do have a one piece header, and a 4 speed, So If I understand correctly I need a second gear from the transmission to the pto set up?

The header MAY not allow the PTO shaft to pass and the transfer case MAY not have the PTO drive gear. You can easily check on the PTO drive gear by pulling the PTO cover off the transfer case. If there is a straight cut gear (not the helical drive gear) right there then you're good to go, if not then you need the gear, a 16 spline PTO gear. The header is something you'll need to eyeball.

Note that both are MAYBE'S!

I had it on a cruiser with a header and had to slightly notch the collector flange for shaft clearance,

David Razorback....these are just things to consider, not deal-killers. Most 4 speeds came without the PTO gear....so that is more than a "maybe"
"Some" headers will work with a PTO, MOST WILL NOT, there again more of a probably than a maybe.
$700 for a complete OEM PTO winch is still an especially good deal when you can drive 1 hour and pick it up as opposed to adding another $100-150 in shipping costs.
