Ham radio here, and I dropped the disc changer and used that space for the body of the radio.

Amateur radio, half-assed install. Migh get the new Yaesu FTM-6000 with detahable face plate, for a more reasonable cost than the rest of the line....hate the mic, though

I have a Kenwood tm-d710ga under my driver's seat with the head unit mounted to my console behind the shift levers. The mike is connected to the body of the radio and comes out between the seat and the cubby.

I have a Midland GMRS radio that I got with Cabela's bucks on order. It's the one where everything is on the mike. I'm not quite sure where I'll install that one yet. Or where I'll put the antenna.
