Hey Folks,

Looking for some help. I have a columbus RTT and the eeziawn k9 roof rack. It looks like the mounting rails for the tent line up over two of the slats of the k9. My arb rtt was spaced enough to be between the slats so that i could screw it on with the k9 mounting kit. Does anyone have this combination? If so what did you do? i do not want to drill through my rack unless absolutely necessary.

@AndrewHadji Andrew, what was the outcome? What did you end up doing? I have a K9 and a Autohome Maggiolina and need to know what my options are.

The above would work, but damn pricy, i ended up getting the k9 roof tent mount kit, which are really just some small square tubes. They are long enough that i shifted the tent to one side so that it doesnt hang off the edge. I might look into these https://www.frontrunneroutfitters.c...-accessories/front-runner-tent-mount-kit.html but need to do some measuring to make sure the FR and K9 hole line up. Mine stays up there all the time

well s*** forgot about this thread. got both the front runner and eezi awn mounts. while the eeziawn mounts where thicker metal, the FR lined up better, had to lenghten the mount hold a skotch. ill get some pics of it mounted.

I ended up scheduling the install of the roof rack and our Maggiolina at equipt to do the install and we ended up buying the equipt tent mounts like yourself and Paul inverted the mounting brackets for the install because they wouldn't line up with the k9 bars. Then we had to throw some 1x4s under the tent to stop it from flexing and banging around. Not an exact fix but it did the job for the trip we just got back from.
