Anyone have experience with this stove?
I may have a relatively good lead on one. Just wondering.
Coleman - Rendezvous 2 Burner Stove -
I know there are other options out there, like the Brunton among others...
Thanks

I've looked at several of these and came to the following conclusion-
-Heavy and awkward to open and closed due to the non-captured hinge that always wants to come apart.
-Cast aluminum locking clasps that seem they would snap off.
-Two burns with a grate that seems have it's bars spaced to far apart to hold a smaller coffee press/pot and a supplied aluminum griddle (lightweight grills get hot spots and don't heat-up evenly).
-Small compartments to hold odds and ends
-Lots of seams and crevices where grease, food and dirt can get into and a nightmare to clean.
-Exposed controls that may break off if the weight of the grill falls on them.
-Lots of peices that you need to keep track of.
Please note: I like C/E stuff and own several peices. I really wanted one of these and was on the fence about getting one. But since I live by a Cabela's and I could visit the store a lot to look them I came to the above conclusions....heck I even passed up a great deal on one due to my conclusions....As a matter of fact, I think they still have one in their bargan cave for sale.... You may want to look at the Partner Stoves if your looking for a bullet proof, but pricey stove.
Good luck!
