we're having our annual guys campout on the river again this year. there was talk of going to hot springs, but we've decided to keep it here. i can't find my pics from last year, but here's a link to the thread from two years ago. https://forum.ih8mud.com/ms-cottonland-cruisers/202773-annual-coldweather-campout.html
everybody's welcome. it's the first weekend in feb plus thursday. feb 4-7 sometimes the river gets too high and we have to relocate, but there will be a place to camp no matter what. we've had freezing temps all weekend before and we've also had temps in the 60's with sunshine, so be sure and check the weather. there will be some cruisers there along with a little bit of everything else. i'll see if i can get a map posted up-it's pretty easy to find. hope some of yall can make it. feel free to ask questions. camping is primitive-there's always enough down trees and someone with a chainsaw for firewood.
also, if the roads are bad you will need mudgrips and 4wd to get back there. if it's dry you can probably make it in a 2wd truck. if all you have is a car, you can drive to the end of the blacktop and we'll come get you and your gear. we always like an excuse to ride.
