Thanks for the information!

Unfortunately the biggest problem for me is the language...:frown:

These informations will be surely very intersting (and so long to be read!), but for now anybody has some other pics of this work (or know where to find them?).

I searched in pirate4x4 for "link suspension for dummies" but I'm too dummy even to find that thread! :crybaby:

I received from a friend of mine a little project, but I can't manege to post it beacouse is a .pdf file;

He calculated squat and anti-squat: he says that is 80% (that should be fine) but I must lower the car for about one inch in the front and 4,5" in the rear (now is more or less 28" in the front and 36" in the rear from ground).

How can I do to keep th car as high as it is now without having a bad squat/antisquat?

If I exceed 100% the rear axlecan't work in the right way at all?

Francesco

just 3 linked the front of my 4-runner. (Still have to clean up the plasma cuts). THat may be a viable option if space is tight.

I found out on a spanish forum this BJ:

barrancomachado067.html

I think is not so bad!! :eek:

The intersting thing is that I didn't use 4link or 3link, but just a simple panhard; and I gave a lot of freedom to the springs.

What do you think about that?

Francesco

that is still a 4 link with a track bar.

Nice how the coil has dropped off the frame.

Un attatched coils are not a good idea IMHO
